Why strengthen the arts in Georgia?

Arts education was directly linked to a 100-point increase in average SAT scores, according to a 1998 College Board study.

LET’S DO MORE

People who appreciate what arts and culture can do for Georgia

ALL-GA is served by three tiers of leadership: a board of directors, a network of district chairs and a leadership cabinet that provides expert guidance and vision.

Jan Selman, Executive Director
Jan has dedicated her life’s work to strengthening the arts community in Georgia and the Southeast. In addition to leading ALL-GA, she serves on the boards of directors of the Southern Arts Federation, the Cultural Tourism Board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau and on the Advisory Board of the Georgia Shakespeare Festival. Jan’s arts advocacy career includes tenures as chairman of the Georgia Council for the Arts and executive director of the DeKalb Council for the Arts. Jan also served as legislative vice president of Georgia Citizens for the Arts, which suspended operations in 2003. Her work on behalf of the arts has earned her an Abby Award from the Metropolitan Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and a Mary Clark Community Arts Award. As executive director of ALL-GA, Jan serves as the state advocacy chair for Americans for the Arts.

Elisa Buono Glazer, chairman
Elisa has spent more than two decades helping arts organizations secure financial support and showing corporations the benefits of providing such support. As a consultant in Atlanta, she has provided fund raising, planning and project management counsel to organizations such as the High Museum of Art, the Georgia Council for the Arts, the Cultural Olympiad of the 1996 Olympic Games, the Robert Ferst Center for the Arts and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Prior to coming to Atlanta, Elisa worked at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., securing an average of more than $5 million a year for special exhibitions, films and educational initiatives. Elisa’s career also includes work in international public relations, advising Fortune 500 companies on creating programs to support culture and education.
